| Model Railway Layouts We presently have a multi-gauge test track that is permenently setup in our clubrooms, a 'Thomas the Tank Engine' layout that we take to our exhibition for visitors to play with , and an O gauge exhibition layout 'Nile Street Basin'. In addition to this the club is also in the process of building a new 'OO' gauge layout. This depicts a small diesel stabling point, and is being built as a tribute to two long-standing members of the club who have sadly passed away in recent years.
The 'O' gauge layout 'Nile Street Basin' depicts a small East London freight yard. At present this is normally exhibitited depicting the 1920's/1930's era, but we have just commenced assembing another set of stock to enable it be run in the 1958-62 era. A datasheet is available for the layout, and a few photographs of the layout are shown below.
